LVX SPRING COLLECTION SWATCH & REVIEW

It's my favorite time of year! Spring! :D Don't you just love Spring? The flowers and trees are blooming, the birds are singing...and of course new nail polish is coming out! ;P LOL.

Tonight I'll be sharing the new Spring Collection from LVX with you guys!

Up first is Blush, which is best described as a soft, Blush Pink. I think this color is beautiful! It's the perfect neutral, pink polish. It applies very smooth, and is almost completely opaque with only 1 coat, 2 is best.

Aria is a very unique polish...and one I would definitely recommend you get your hands on! LVX describes the color as a Light Cement Blue, but it looks more like a pastel/grey-ish green to me. Either way I love it, because I have absolutely nothing like it! 1 coat was mostly opaque, 2 is best.

For me loving blue polish so much, I can honestly say that I do not own a blue polish in a shade even similar to this. Azure is a beautiful, Deep Muted Teal. I think it could also be described as a kind of dark/grey-ish blue...but Muted Teal is easier :P This polish was a little bit more sheer than the first 2, but not by much. It only needed 2 coats.

Mondrian is described by LVX as a Classic Red, but I'm not so sure about that. I swear this color is more of a Red with a hint of Coral...Maybe I'm losing it a little bit. None of these colors match their exact description to me...but either way, they are all still beautiful. This polish was opaque in 1-2 coats.

Obviously I didn't have a hard time with this polish. Icon is a gorgeous, soft white polish. I LOVED the way this polish looked when it was finished and had a topcoat...but the downfall of this one, for me, is that it took 3 thick coats to get full opacity. For a white polish (which I use ALL the time) I need a 1-2 coater...but it's still pretty.

And last up, (probably my personal favorite!) is Fleur a stunning, Soft Lavender Pink. This polish is truly unique!! It was the last polish I swatched so I still have it on, and I honestly can't tell which color it is sometimes. Is it pink? Is it lavender? Either way I absolutely LOVE it! It may be my new "Go-To" polish. Needs 1-2 coats for full opacity.

So there you have it! 6 beautiful new polishes that you should definitely get your hands on! I am so impressed with this Collection! Not only are the colors lovely, and apply as smooth as butter, but they're so unique and gorgeous!

If you would like any of these polishes for yourself you can find all of them here:

VINAILICIOUS NAIL VINYLS (REVIEW)

I was recently contacted by Cathy, the creator of ViNailicious, to see if I'd be interested in reviewing some of her Nail Vinyls. Of course I was happy to :)

Cathy recently created her own nail vinyls with the help of her husband because she wasn't satisfied with the designs that were available. And I have to admit that they did a fantastic job with the designs!

(This is a picture heavy post!)

(You can click the link below each of the photos to go Directly to each item on ViNailicous' Etsy page).

So now that you've seen all of the stencils I received...Let's get into the Nail Designs!

I created this design with the Stained Flowers Vinyl. I loved this design so much! I had a hard time taking it off ;P The colors I used were Royal Polish Robins Egg, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and ShopLVX New Spring polish Azure.

This was a total experiment that I wasn't quite sure about until I put a topcoat over it :) Then I loved the finished look! The colors I used were Sinful Colors Snow Me White & Tempest and China Glaze Def Defying, For Audrey & Shocking Pink.

And last up, is this fun swirl pattern. I played around with this design for 2 days because it didn't feel quite done when I first finished it. I started off with just Sinful Colors Snow Me White and OPI Black Onyx, then decided that it was missing something so I added China Glaze Fairy Dust over top of the black swirls...and then it still didn't feel quite right, so I added a matte topcoat!

I loved all of the vinyls I tried...and obviously I still have more to try :)

I think that Cathy and her husband did a great job with the designs! I was really impressed with the variety of vinyls they created! The only thing that I had a problem with is that some of the images have very fine lines so if you're not careful peeling them off of the paper backing, they can rip easily. But once you get used to working with them, they're pretty easy to use.

(Tips: They're delicate so be gentle when you use them, place them on the back of your hand before you place them on your nail so they're not as sticky and whenever possible apply polish over the top with a makeup sponge, the lines will come out cleaner and it won't be as messy).

You can find all of these Vinyls, plus many more by clicking on the links below each of the photos, or you can find them here: ViNailicious

WHY I'VE BEEN MIA...

Hey Lovelies. I want to apologize for being MIA for a few months. I've continued to post a lot on Instagram, and some on Facebook, but nothing on here since December.

Sharing my nail designs on my Blog has been kind of discouraging for me lately. I don't really hear a lot of feedback, so I have no idea if anyone actually likes what I share, and the main reason that it is so discouraging for me is because I spend a lot of time writing up my Blog reviews. Blogging isn't as easy for me as it is for other people. It takes a lot of time and patience.

Even with all of that said, I do still enjoy sharing Blog reviews and multiple photos on here :) I have a few new Blog reviews coming so hopefully that can get me back into Blogging mode.

For now I wanted to share a few designs I've done in the last couple weeks :)

You can find a Video Tutorial on this design here: Coffee Nails

This was one of my most favorite Nail Designs for Valentine's Day! :) I recreated this look from @KelliMarissa on IG.

I came up with this simple design after I bought a new silver glitter polish from China Glaze.

As part of Winstonia's Valentines Day Nail Art Contest I recreated this design by @JuantyJuli.

Thanks for getting through my little 'vent session' :P I hope you enjoyed the nail art looks and please check back for more reviews! They'll be coming soon :)
